RAWE generates over 30,000 kWh of electricity annually with its own photovoltaic system. This is primarily used for self-supply. For example, the company's own electric vehicles are charged or the heat pump is operated. Surplus energy is fed into the public grid.
Our buildings are constructed according to the latest standards in terms of insulation and heating systems. For example, our administration building is powered by a heat pump. This supplies the underfloor heating with heat in winter. In summer, the floor can be cooled in an almost climate-neutral way.
